About Ryan
Hey there, I'm an artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up in a family of creatives, I was exposed to drawing early on, but most of my life was focused on sports. It wasn't until college that I started bringing my creative side back to the forefront. From sketches of my dorm mates on water jugs to acrylic paintings of my favorite movies, I eventually learned to work with oils, which has become my favorite medium. These days, you'll find me creating portraits, still lifes, and adding my own impressionistic flair to everything around me.
Ryan is an oil painter who has been specializing in portraits and figure painting. His artistic style is a blend of impressionism and expressionism, with a strong focus on harmony and color. He has an eye for color combinations that work well together, and he skillfully uses this to convey the mood and emotion of his subjects.
Overall, Ryan's portraits come alive with vibrant hues that capture the essence of his subjects. His dedication to his craft shines through in every piece he creates, and his willingness to take risks has led him to become an accomplished artist with a unique perspective.
How it works
Ryan will arrive at your venue 2-3 hours early to set up, take reference photos with the couple, and begin painting the background. As guests arrive, he will begin adding in the important details of your day to capture the feel of the space.
At the end of the night, Ryan typically has 70-80% of your painting complete. Finishing touches will be added in studio after the event.
A month prior to your special day, we will schedule a consultation call to discuss the painted moment and details you would like captured.

Travel & Payment Details
Ryan is based in Southern California and is available for travel anywhere in US and the world! Events in Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego have no travel fee.
Travel fee for venues outside of Ryan’s local radius will have a custom travel quote provided to cover mileage, hotel, and flight if necessary.
A 50% deposit and signed agreement are required to secure your date. The remaining 50% will be required 2 weeks prior to your event.
The day of the event, Ryan will require a vendor meal, chair, small area near an outlet.
