About Megan
Megan Murdock is a Watercolor Artist and Illustrator specializing in both portrait and figure studies. She graduated with a degree in Studio Art and Illustration from California State University, Channel Islands. She works to create likeness of each subject by capturing their essence. She is inspired by the body language and small details of each person, using color and line work to highlight each character study. She is inspired by artists such as Georgia O'Keefe, John Singer Sargent, and Alice Neel. When not creating art, she enjoys being home with her husband, sons, and Corgi-Beagle, Arlo.
